The Dangers of Vaporizing – Are Electronic Cigarettes Harmful?
Do you know the dangers of vaping? The vapors created by E-Liquids are believed less harmful than smoke from the typical cigarette. But what about the other dangers of E-Liquids?
There were many studies published that point to the dangers of E-Liquids. One study published in the Journal of American Science reported that vaporizing flavored water can result in a rise in leukemia and other cancers. A second study published in the Archives of Internal Medicine reported that smokers who vaped were at a threefold greater threat of experiencing gum disease, stroke, or breathing complications. Both of these studies seriously the heels of a report released by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services that suggested that nearly one in five middle-aged and older adults have a minumum of one type of oral cancer, which is the second highest recorded reason behind death for that generation.
Along with both of these studies the dangers of E-Liquids seem to go hand in hand with other reports about the dangers of E-Liquids. A study published in June of 2021 in the Archives of Internal Medicine reported that there is a solid trend of increasing risk with the use of e-juices, especially for adults. The analysis defined e-liquid use as any liquid which has caffeine, chocolates, lecithin, or flavors of tobacco, or that tout themselves as “iquid candy.” The report went on to say that these products were a leading cause of unintentional deaths among middle-aged and older adults.
